The procedure, minute by minute

Arrival: be there 15–20 minutes early with your ID. Phones and smartwatches off and stored: the room is monitored and using devices voids the test.

Identification: the examiner checks your ID; at the workstation you type your codice fiscale to activate your sheet.

The test: 30 statements, each answered True or False. The timer is visible; you navigate freely between questions.

Submission: when you confirm (or at the 20-minute mark) the sheet is corrected automatically and the result appears on screen.

In-room strategy: how to use the 20 minutes

An average of 40 seconds per question is a lot: don't rush. First pass on the sure questions, second pass on the doubtful ones. Read every statement to the last word — «sempre», «mai», «solo» and negations are trick-question territory (the full catalogue is in the most-failed questions guide). Leave nothing blank: an unanswered question counts as an error. And re-check answers if time remains: correcting before submission is allowed and free.

After the result

Passed: the foglio rosa is collectable from the next day at the Motorizzazione or via your driving school; from there you have 12 months and 3 attempts for the practical. Failed: a ~30-day wait and a second attempt — with a targeted review plan, not random restarting: the full plan is here.
