Infographic: Military convoys and processions

In road traffic, there are special situations where certain groups of vehicles or people must be treated as a single continuous unit. This applies to military convoys, police vehicles, and emergency vehicles when they are clearly identifiable. In these cases, it is prohibited to interrupt the convoy, for example by crossing through it or inserting your vehicle between its units. These convoys often operate under emergency or coordinated conditions that require continuity and safety.

The same rule applies to groups of people such as marching troops, school groups, parades, or processions. It is forbidden to cross or break these groups, as doing so may create danger or disorder.

Drivers must wait until the entire convoy or group has passed before proceeding, always acting with caution and respect.

Failure to comply with these rules results in an administrative fine.
