Test circulation is a special type of vehicle use that allows driving on public roads for specific purposes such as technical testing, inspections, demonstrations, or movements related to sale or repair. This type of circulation is only allowed under strict conditions and cannot be used as normal driving.
A vehicle used for test circulation must be used exclusively for its intended purposes. It is not allowed to use it for personal or unrelated activities. For example, a vehicle with a test plate cannot be used for private trips or activities not connected to testing or verification.
During circulation, the authorized holder must be present in the vehicle, or a delegated employee officially authorized by them. This ensures that the vehicle is used under the responsibility of an authorized person and in compliance with the law.
If these conditions are not respected, administrative penalties apply. Violations may include improper use of the vehicle or the absence of the authorized person on board.
If violations are repeated several times, more serious consequences apply. After multiple infractions, in addition to higher fines, the vehicle may be confiscated. This means the vehicle is permanently taken from the owner.
In summary, test circulation is a limited and controlled possibility that can only be used for specific purposes and under strict conditions. Compliance with the rules is essential to avoid penalties and more serious consequences.
